Cardinality is a property of all sets the represents the size of the set. Two sets have the same cardinality if there exists a bijection between the two sets. Two sets that have the same order type have the same cardinality, but the converse is not always true.

Each set has a unique corresponding cardinal number that describes the number of elements of the set.
